capital needs

There are many capital needs required to keep Assistance Dogs of the West working smoothly, safely and efficiently.

Think about transporting dogs to school classes…safe and well maintained vehicles are critical.

Think about taking student trainers and dogs out to work in public facilities…that ADW bus better be in really good shape, and well insured!!

Think about assistance dogs learning agility skills to support their clients and move through the world effectively…those environments need to be built and maintained.

Think about dogs resting between classes in comfort, clean well designed kennels with the right amount of shade, space and water!

Assistance Dogs of the West is always looking for a permanent home

After 15 years of success building the Assistance Dogs of the West service dog training program, we need to build a home, a training center.  We’d love to say goodbye to peoples’ back yards, Chevy Suburbans, long commutes, storage units, dog pens at schools and cramped loaned offices.

What can you help us build?

Dog Communes, Training Classrooms and Yards, Offices, Kitchen, Storage, Dog Manager Housing, and Client Placement Housing to start.
