Like everyone, Assistance Dogs of the West is feeling the reality of today’s economy. That reality means we will have to cut several student programs unless we receive funding to keep them open.  We understand that these are tough times for everyone financially, but any donation you can make to our organization is greatly appreciated.  You can make a donation online by clicking the “Donate” button on the top right-hand side of our website.

Assistance Dogs of the West will be participating in a celebration event on Saturday August 14 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Zoe & Guido’s Pet Boutique (607-A Cerrillos Rd.) in Santa Fe.

ADW will be giving demonstrations of some of the different tasks different types of assistance dogs perform for their partners, as well as “administering” a mini-public access test for people who want to see if their dog could even come close to the appropriate behaviors.
