ADW VOLUNTEER JOBS
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR to manage volunteer program Develop and Manage Volunteer Advertising Contact with local senior centers, schools, community organizations, etc.
OFFICE HELP (for example)
2-3 hour shifts one day/week
Answer office phone
Generate thank you letters and record donations in mailing list Manage ADW mailing list Send out program application packages
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Schedule, organize and perform community demonstrations Develop list of target groups Work with kid, dog and client team(s) Take photos of group work and individual dogs Make photo albums (group and individual albums) Make demonstration boards – like the big brother/sister board Community activity booth participation as required (Whole Foods, Borders, etc.) Plaza events (Blessing of the Animals, Earth Day, etc)
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Clean office
Clean dog pens
Fix tarps on dog pens
Make dog beds, dog toys
Improve dog play yard
Purchase big overhead objects from thrift store for dog pen roof
Build dog houses
Build office furniture as required
PROGRAM SUPPORT
Develop student &client evaluation forms Visit existing clients, check in with them Graduation planning and management
