National Assistance Dogs Week is August 8-14

Assistance Dogs of the West will be participating in a celebration event on Saturday August 14 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Zoe & Guido’s Pet Boutique (607-A Cerrillos Rd.) in Santa Fe.

ADW will be giving demonstrations of some of the different tasks different types of assistance dogs perform for their partners, as well as “administering” a mini-public access test for people who want to see if their dog could even come close to the appropriate behaviors.
