This event will be an orientation for anyone interested in volunteering with Assistance Dogs of the West. It will cover the history of Assistance Dogs of the West, questions most frequently asked by potential clients and donors, and the application process for receiving an ADW service dog, as well as more detailed information about Assistance Dogs of the West volunteer opportunities. We want you to have all the information you need to be great representatives for Assistance Dogs of the West. We will offer more specific training thereafter depending upon what type of volunteer work you choose. Please join us, and bring any questions you have about ADW. We look forward to meeting each of you, and introducing ourselves and our service dogs-in-training.

On July 11, POP Gallery will host a Silent Art Auction and Raffle to benefit Assistance Dogs of the West. The auction begins at 6 pm, and features paintings by New Orleans legend Diego Lukezic, new originals from internationally renowned jazz painter, Clifford Bailey, and work by Romero Britto. You’ll also find whimsical faces from Bradford Brenner, photo collages by Thomas Barbey, toy sculpture from Scott Krichau, and much more. Please come out and meet ADW trainers and service dogs, and support New Mexico’s only nonprofit service dog organization.
